If you have children in each group, you are encouraged to come towards the end of the first session.

Step 1: Check in at the cafeteria: Teams of teachers and staff will make sure you have your PowerSchool and ParentSquare accounts set up. Please be prepared to show these on your phone. If someone else is bringing your child they should have a screenshot of your account. During the check in process we will also make sure we know how your child is going home from school, any allergy or medical needs and ensure you have all of your transportation information. Once you have completed all portions of the check in process, you will be issued a ticket to the classroom. Once you have this ticket, you can then go to the classroom. If you have multiple children, we will issue tickets for all children during one check in time.

Step 2 (if needed): Visit with Nurse Shirley. If your child has any medical needs or allergies you will be asked to check in with the nurse, which is a station in the cafeteria. We are unable to accept any medication without the proper paperwork. You can visit this link to determine what paperwork is needed. Step 3: Visit your child’s classroom: During this time you can drop off school supplies, meet the teacher and other students and their families. The teachers will present you with all the information needed to understand the classroom procedures for the upcoming school year. This takes the place of another visit for what many used to call Back to School Night. If you want a picture with your child in the classroom this is a great time to do this as following HCPS safety procedures, families aren’t allowed on campus during morning arrival.
